Hose Reviews
Posted on August 18, 2011 | No CommentsTonic Hookah Louge Style Hose I got ths hose to go with my Furat "Freebie" Hookah from Hookah-Shisha.com. The hose is 72"inches and smoke gray in color. Upon inspection of the hose, I didn't see any glue, so I know that TONIC took pride in the constructionship of this hose. The hose is very "plastic" looking, but durable, and that does not take away from it's funtionality. The hose smokes GREAT!!!! The Mothpiece and end of the hose is transparent, so you can see the smoke as it passes through the hose, "neat"!! And the draw is free and smooth. There is some "plastic" flavor to the smoke, but I didn't wash the hose before I used it (I'm a hookah newbie, & was too excited to try it out). And the price point of this hose is a no brainer. If you lose the hose, you won't break the bank replacing it. This will be my travel hose, as I have a Namoor and I really don't want to drag it around when I take my hookah to hang out with friends (I have a Mya QT Hookah that the Namoor hose is married too). All in all, a great hose for the price. I don't think you can go wrong with this hose. You should check one out!!!!! -

Hookah flip bowl review
Posted on July 11, 2011 | No CommentsI saw a thread on this before but it got closed. So I would like to put my personal review. I bought mine at a local shop for $20 and I love it. It smokes great, it seems to last longer with then my phunnel bowl. In the other thread, people asked about heat management, the coal tray is adjustable and at it's lowest it will be about three inches from the tobacco. It's pretty nifty. It's made of brass so it is washable, I have thrown it in my dishwasher numerous times. I've smoked everything from al fakher to tangiers out of it. I have noticed some wetter tobacco to drip if I poke to large of holes in it. I would recommend it. If anyone would like me to make a video or any questions feel free to ask. Posted on June 27, 2011 | No CommentsIn my latest order from Hookahset, com, I purchased one of the disposable hoses that hookahset is selling instead of the out of stock NuHoses. Overall it looks like a cheap plastic hose that will not work, BUT I was wrong. The hose is wrapped into two p... -

Proper Use of a Coal Screen
Posted on May 19, 2011 | No CommentsI am still learning about hookah, but here's my take on coal screens: I've figured out to flip the screen such that the indented side stands upward. This keeps the coals further off the shisha, and I get a nice long session with good flavour. Seal......
