You can change flavors every 30 minutes. Starbuzz/Fantasia $5 a bowl *Hookahs Used: *Econo Maya Diablo * Other Items Available (Drinks, Food, etc): *Water, energy drinks, soda, milk, coffee. *Facilities Available/Cleanliness: *Hand made half circle couches, very comfy, great for socializing. Bathroom is cleaned every night, but can get dirty depending on who uses it ^^ *Environment/Crowd/Music:* Mostly 18-25, College kids come in early and study with the free wifi. Dimly lit. Music is not too loud, and varies by who is working drawer. Live music every Saturday night, some really good bands play. *Rating (1 to 10): *I'll rate this individually: Staff: 10/10 - Most friendly, accommodating staff I've ever met. I've actually been going to this hookah lounge for 3 years because of the staff. I can honestly call a lot of them good friends. Environment: 9/10 - Of course it depends on what you are looking for, but for me, the environment is perfect. Good, chill music. Free internet. Definitely a great date spot, or great to go hang out with a bunch of friends. Hookahs: 7/10 - There are some great staff made, and sometimes customer made, combination's. Al Fakher shisha doesn't really do it for me, though. The 5$ bowls of starbuzz or fantasia may or may not be worth it, depending on how many people you are with. Value for money: 9/10 - The $12 cover might seem stiff, but take note that you can literally be there from 8pm to 3am, smoke 20 hookahs within that time period, and not pay a cent more. That in and of itself is pretty awesome. Overall: 8.75/10 - Definitely one my favorite places to hit up on a weekday. It gets pretty busy on weekends but like I said, there isn't a more friendly place you can go to. :) -

Nara Lebanese Hookah Lounge
Posted on March 19, 2011 | No CommentsLast night, I was fortunate to experience my first hookah bar! My boyfriend and I wanted to do something fun for our spring break so we decided to have a double date with another couple, (Katherine and Hans) and make the commute to *Providence CT*, to try a hookah lounge for the first time. The lounge is called Nara Lebanese Hookah Lounge { WEBSITE (http://www.providencenara.com/)} and if your near *Providence CT*, I suggest it as a one time experience. I live about 60 minutes, give or take, from this lounge. Now, it wasn’t very hard to locate. It wasn’t hard to find parking (was literally, right across the street and it was only $10). *Few things to be aware of:* 1. 18+ is highly enforced. Don’t think of showing up without your I.D. Not only did they ask if we were 18 while making the reservation, but before they even asked about our reservation they wanted to see our I.D.’s, which I very much admired. 2. Music is L O U D! And lighting is very dim (not sure how it is in the day, but we went at 9:00 P.M.). This is the biggest thing about Nara, the music is blasting. At first you need time to adjust to it, but you soon do and it isn’t an issue. The music is very cool, all remixes of modern day hits and Lebanese music. 3. They serve food, and drinks (I got the *half&half*, and it was delicious). Their menu has a lot on it, and also inside has a list of the premium shishas they offer for you to smoke. 4. The set up of the place, is down right beautiful. I loved the decor of the entire place, and the comfortable feel it brought to the entire room. I enjoyed the fact you didn’t have an assigned seat right when you sat, you were free to move around your hookah as you pleased, and sit closer together. 5. I’m not sure exactly how tall, but the hookah we used (and all the people around us) was a one hosed hookah. The hookahs were very nice, simple. Not sure if you maybe can request a hookah with more than one hose, but from what I saw, everyone was given a one hosed hookah (accompanied with a personal mouth piece). 6. The place has an outstanding ventilation system. I honestly expected to walk in and be in a room filled with smoke. No, not even the slightest bit. So even for those who want to tag along, and aren’t into the smoking part, its extremely comfortable for you. *What flavors we tried:* On weekends, they have a 2 hookah minimum rule. Each hookah, is $20. Which, I believe to be a good price considering if your going with a group, (We went with a total of 4 people, our hookahs alone totaled $40, so simple math, $10 per person). So we got two hookahs burning at the same time, and all the flavors are listed on their website. We tried chocolate mint, and guava. *Chocolate mint*: Quality: 9.5/10 Taste: 8/10 Smoke: 8/10 This shisha packs a serious punch of flavor! I loved it. Pinch of chocolate, and a sting of mint, it’s fantastic. You can smell chocolate on the persons breath right after they take a hit of this shisha. *Guava*: Quality: 9.5/10 Taste: 9.5/10 Smoke: 8/10 Loveeeeed this flavor, it was so delicious. It tasted like gummy bears to myself and my friend Katherine. Fantastic flavor, and very very very smooth. Hookahs burned beautifully, and lasted us most of the 90 minutes we were at the lounge. This experience was fantastic, and we plan to go to another bar right near this one, and I seriously can’t wait. I’ll do a vs. review on the two when I get the chance to attend the other one. My boyfriend and I also picked up 108 coconut shell coals for a cheap investment of $20. Anyone live in the New England area? If so, what hookah bars have you been to and tell me what you liked, what you didn't like, if you tried the food or beverages, and/or what shisha you tried. T h a n k Y o u ! :hookahsmiley: -

Gold Tangiers Sized Windcover
Posted on February 13, 2011 | No CommentsHere is the new windcover I ordered to fit on my new KM since my old tin can wouldn't fit. Pros: -It does what its supposed too. My old do-it-yourself tin can windcover wouldnt fit on my KM and I needed a replacement. After smoking a good bit, I slap it on and get huge clouds -The egyptian symbols near the bottom are really cool and detailed. Whoever took the time to put em on there did an excellent job and knew what they were doing. Cons: -The thing is really dented and beat up. They are dings here and there and take away from the decoration -I have hearts indented on the can. One of them is lined up perfectly and looks pretty cool, but the other one is off center and actually goes off the edge into one of the holes. -The handle is a little flimsy and can be bended if you're not careful Final Review: 8/10 It does what its supposed too and helps burn all of the tobacco. The dents and offcentered heart take away from the overall finished product, but I don't really care for the looks. Hell, it's prettier than my old tin can :D Image: http://i53.tinypic.com/35avz4m.jpg Image: http://i54.tinypic.com/1zf1mpg.jpg The messed up heart stamp Image: http://i51.tinypic.com/2j2hyl0.jpg Handle Image: http://i51.tinypic.com/2zdnhid.jpg Nice heart indention.
