Home made diffuser?
Posted on August 31, 2011 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by Evilcon666)--- A quarter machine capsule. It's what I use. Cheap and really idiot proof to make. ---End Quote--- This is the exact thing i made months ago for my Mya QT. It doesn't work on my KM or Nammor though, but i only use the diffuser because the stem is so short on the QT. -

Defuser fail.
Posted on August 27, 2011 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by MrSam)--- Really? The one I made works perfectly. I'll need to try the highlighter one though. Especially since the diffuser I purchased doesn't even fit in one of my vases.. Is it more beneficial to cover the bottom of the diffuser and put holes in it, or leave it open? I didn't notice a difference. ---End Quote--- When I made my diffuser I put holes everywhere on it. From the bottom up all around it's sides. Mine makes my draw so much easier. It also silences that rattle I used to get. Almost sounds like a low powered mini jet engine when I draw with my windcover on my vortex lol. I love it. -
My "Chinese" Hookah lol
Posted on August 25, 2011 | No CommentsThat's actually really sick. Are you using the original grommet as your grommet on the bottle? -
12.5 inch Cherry wood and stainless hose tip
Posted on August 24, 2011 | No CommentsTrying out this bad boy right now and honestly I am VERY impressed. The draw is just like a standard nuhose/fancy hose handle and the stainless steel mouth fitting is MUCH more comfortable than the plastic nuhose ones. -
Fix your old rusted out hose!
Posted on August 24, 2011 | No CommentsI found a couple rusted out hoses, I had some vinyl tubing left over from a project and decided to give this a shot. All it really took was to tug on the ends of the old hose and the ends got pulled off. The construction of this one is similar to a mya hose. I just headed up the ends of the tube and slid over the old connecters after washing them out. Anyways here is a video. If you want a how to I can make one. http://www.hookahpro.com/forum/video.php?do=viewdetails&videoid=7181 Cheers -
Ice Tip
Posted on August 23, 2011 | No CommentsI would just use little baggies they sell at head shops. Crack sacks they call them most of the time. -

Homemade charcoal alternative
Posted on August 19, 2011 | No CommentsThere is an easy way to do this but it may sounds more complicated than it is. You can make your own coals essentially the same way you make charcloth (all the boyscouts out there should know what this is. 1) find wood that you would like to use for y... -

STEM
Posted on August 17, 2011 | No CommentsI use 1/2" copper pipe for my stems and it works fine, I think if you super-heated it you may have problems, but for a hookah stem It'll be fine -
