Simple way to help save your carpet
Posted on August 2, 2011 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by Wanab)--- Well I am 19 and still live with my parents so I have to try and be careful when smoking, after burning and frantically covering up burns on my carpet I came up with an idea on how to potentially fix this. What I did was get a piece of card board and laid some wet paper towels on it so if any thing happens it would land on that instead of the carpet. Its a simple quick fix! ---End Quote--- well my parents got pissed i did that man with my friend ofcourse my friends clumsy drops the coal 2 times and both in diffent spots it was a bad day:mad: -

Sooo best way to cure your plants?
Posted on July 29, 2011 | No Comments---Quote (Originally by Madwolf)--- So I have 20 burly 5 Plants growing nice and big, Ive dont some googling of how to cure tobacco but I was wondering if anyone had some experiance? ---End Quote--- Burley is easily cured by priming (harvesting) the leave as they become ripe working from the bottom up. An easy method of drying is to take package string and a large upholstery needle and string the leaves through the center stem. hang them up leaving at least 2 inches between the leaves for air flow. Burley likes warmth with 65% humity to dry well to a leathery dry. Once they are brown and leathery bundle the leaves together with 10 to 15 leaves in a bunch (this is called a 'hand' of tobacco) you can use string (or traditionally another tobacco leaf) to tie the fat end of the center veins together. Once in hands they will keep fairly well. The issue with burley, unlike Virgina is that it is not a good smoke right out of the drying stage. Without further curing it may take a year before it is mellowed enough to smoke smoothly. Usually it is put in a chamber at 110 degrees and 75% humidity for roughly 30 days to mellow. During that time it converts the unpleasant tasting oils in to ammonia, which wafts off the leaf. In small batched (6 to 10 leaves) you can spritz the leaves with water and put it in a giant Ziploc bag. Inflate the bag, seal it and then set it in a place where it will get good sun through the day (in the winter it can be put over a heat vent). The warmth of the sunlight creates the needed temp and the wet tobacco has the right humidity. Every two days you let out the bad air and pull the tobacco out and rearrange the stack of leaves so that the inner leaves are moved to the outer layers. this keeps it from growing mold. usually about 30 days is needed for full conversion to mellow happiness. (you can also use this method on harsh burley that is shredded already) -
homemade LEILA
Posted on July 28, 2011 | No Commentshey i know this is an old post but.. one of my buddies has this thing thats called the "hookah flip". (we call it the hook) but pretty much the shisha goes on top and coals underneath. Its following the law of physics that heat rises. it uses very little shisha and actually lasts a long time for how much shisha the bowl takes up. the coals go in a bowl type device under the shisha so that way you dont have to worry about coals falling off the bowl and burning a hole in your upholstery while driving. the only problem is that a screen is much easier to use instead of foil because the bowl is facing down towards the ground.. but foil can be used. also the shisha needs to be squeezed out so the juices dont fall down into the coals. not a big deal. just not as much flavor. heres a link to what im talking about. it fits on where a bowl would normally sit on a hookah stem. ( we use ours on a blue pear KM and it works great... one more thing it takes awhile to get started but once it starts smoking its good to go. heres the link http://www.hookahcompany.com/hookah_flip_hookah_bowl_5902_prd1.htm -
