Desi Murli
Posted on August 19, 2011 | No Comments*Brand and Flavor: DM Strawberry Lemonade* *Shisha Cut: *fine, moist, few stems *Hookah Type: 25" KM black pearl* *Duration: *1.5 *Bowl: Med Tangiers Phunnel* *Foil / Screen: *1 layer Reynolds HD *Coal / Amount: *3 coconaras Mazaya with windcover *Smoke: *wispy then medium to thick smoke *Buzz: *mild to moderate buzz *Smell / Flavor: *The smell is neither strawberry nor lemon but, has an earthy spice aroma. As for taste, it has a slight lemony note on the exhale. I could not pick up any strawberry flavor over the strong earthy tobacco taste. *Video Review Link: *One of these days I'm going to get me a camcorder so everybody can see what a old coot looks like smoking his hookah. *Rating (1 to 10): 9/10* As with the pineapple review, I would have rated it higher if there was more of the advertized flavor. However, this shisha is a great relaxing smoke. -

Bowl: Glazed Ceramic. Foil / Screen: Reynolds HD Coal / Amount: 1 Holland QL, halved. Smoke: Med. thick Buzz: Ehh....not much. Tonic
Posted on August 16, 2011 | No Comments*Brand and Flavor:* Tonic- Da Vinci *Shisha Cut:* Medium to fine cut, a couple of stems. Juicy but not overly wet or drippy. *Hookah Type:* 21" Egyptian *Duration:* 60-75 min *Bowl:* Vortex *Foil / Screen:* metal screen *Coal / Amount:* Coco Jamras, 1 coal halved; another half after 25 mins; another half 30 mins *Smoke:* medium to thick *Buzz:* none *Smell / Flavor:* The description says it's a "peaches and cream," and it smells peachy! The smoke tastes like a light peach with a cooling effect that is not minty at all. The aftersmoke made the room smell just like a peach cobbler without the cinnamon. *Rating (1 to 10):* 10/10, I highly enjoyed this flavor. -
Zona / Epic Shisha
Posted on August 16, 2011 | No Comments*Brand and Flavor:* Epic Smoke Forever Lasting Gobstopper *Shisha Cut:* medium cut, massive amounts of glycerine *Hookah Type:* Mya QT *Duration:* about an hour and a half *Bowl:* vortex *Foil / Screen:* hookah foil I had laying around *Coal / Amount: *coconara cubes, 3 *Smoke:* MASSIVE clouds *Buzz:* almost none *Smell / Flavor:* Smells awesome (hence why I bought it), but the taste is very light (almost nonexistant) *Rating (1 to 10): *4 - Not a very much flavour, but the clouds were enormous, as with all the epic smoke I've tried. Fun to smoke with friends just because of the smoke, but thats about it. -

NOUR tobacco
Posted on August 14, 2011 | No Comments*Brand and Flavor:* Lemon *Shisha Cut: *Pretty fine, about the same as AF, but incredibly wet. I mean puts starbuzz and fantasia to shame wet *Hookah Type: *30'' Syrian Sphere *Duration: *75 Minutes *Bowl: *Crown Micro Phunnel *Foil / Screen:* 1 layer reynolds HD *Coal / Amount:* 2 Kanaras *Smoke:* Giant ass clouds but that is expected with a tobacco this wet. *Buzz:* None *Smell / Flavor:* Smelled like a very sweet/sugary lemon. Not necessarily a lemon head but it definitely isn't a natural smell/taste like mizo lemon. It was excellent though. Flavor was strong and gave a good session. *Rating (1 to 10):* 7. I like this flavor and all, but I do like a natural tasting lemon flavor better than the candy ones. But this will definitely be my choice if such a craving should arise. -

Black Snow 360
Posted on August 7, 2011 | No CommentsBrand and Flavor: Black Snow 360 Ocean Breeze Shisha Cut: Pretty wet, reminded me of Starbuzz Acid. Hookah Type: 19" Egyptian Duration: 30 min. Bowl: Sahara Smoke Vortex. Foil / Screen: Reynolds HD Coal / Amount: 2pcs. Starlight QL (these sucked, by the way.) Smoke: Pretty thick, but being this is touted as a "luxury" brand, I was expecting a little more. Buzz: Pretty comfortable, not overwhelming. Smell / Flavor: The smell is a delicious fruit mix, yet the flavor is almost all mint for about 15 min, then the fruit flavor began to kick in, which was one of the best flavors of shisha i've ever had. Rating (1 to 10): 8 -
