Defuser fail.

Is it more beneficial to cover the bottom of the diffuser and put holes in it, or leave it open? I didn't notice a difference.
When I made my diffuser I put holes everywhere on it. From the bottom up all around it's sides. Mine makes my draw so much easier. It also silences that rattle I used to get. Almost sounds like a low powered mini jet engine when I draw with my windcover on my vortex lol. I love it.
