Most of you must have walked into the stalls near Vashi Station. Have you noticed a restaurant called Kabeela which is a Middle Eastern restaurant? One of the owners Mr. Joey Shah says "I was in the Middle East for about 26 years and so I am quite familiar with this". The other partner is S P Prajapati, both of them jointly run this restaurant in the prime area in Vashi

The ambiance of the restaurant is also done in such a way that it gives a feel of the Middle-East. The restaurant is built like a tent and lanterns used to brighten up the place. The khatiyas give it a very informal look and would be definitely comfortable for the costumers. Everything has been given a Middle-East touch so as to get the feel", says Joey.

The customers who come here are between the age group of 21 to 40. "We do not have families coming here. We cater mainly to call center executives, designers, models, Management people, etc." it is seen that the crowd comes in the late evening hours.

A great combination of hookah and Turkish coffee would come to near about Rs.110. The items here are sold at comparatively cheaper rate. The main attraction here is the Shawarma and the Hookah.

The hookahs come in different flavors, you could choose any flavour among the 28 flavors available like Apple, Orange, Lemon, Banana, Licorice, rolls, etc which are imported from Egypt. The price of the hookah is Rs. 100.

The music played is also different so as to go with the feel of the ambiance and the food.

"We have lot many Kharghar customers and they insist that we should come up with some thing like this there as well. So we are looking into that." says Joey when asked about his expansion plans.
